A Collaboration for Accessible Oral Healthcare
The Al-Rayyaz Hospital Dental Care Unit is a collaborative initiative with One Ummah Foundation, created to bridge the gap between quality and affordability in oral healthcare.
The story of this collaboration began with a shared passion for community service. Al-Rayaz Hospital, established in 1982 by Mr. M. Rayaz-ur-Rehman Ansari, has served Karachi for decades as a trusted healthcare provider. Meanwhile, One Ummah Foundation, founded by Tasneem Rahman in memory of her son Mustafa Rahman, has been supporting global humanitarian and healthcare initiatives since 1999.
When these two organizations came together, their combined efforts created a powerful impact — offering free eye surgeries, arranging medical camps, and launching welfare-based healthcare programs for the underprivileged.

One Ummah Foundation (OUF) was founded by Tasneem Rahman in memory of her beloved son, Mustafa Rahman, whose life inspired a global movement of hope and compassion. What began as a mother’s mission to honor her child’s memory has grown into a worldwide humanitarian initiative that operates in over 33 countries.
OUF’s work spans across healthcare, education, and humanitarian relief, improving lives through sustainable and impactful programs. The foundation has built schools, funded surgeries, supported disaster relief, and empowered underprivileged communities. Its guiding vision is simple yet powerful: to transform grief into goodness and ensure no one is left without hope.

Together, they have launched impactful healthcare initiatives — most notably the installation of a state-of-the-art Phaco Oertli machine, which enabled over 130 cataract surgeries, including dozens performed free of charge. This achievement reflects their mutual commitment to making advanced healthcare accessible to all.
Building on this strong foundation, both organizations now take another step forward with the launch of the Dental Care Unit, a modern facility offering both welfare (free/subsidized) and paid services under one roof. This ongoing partnership continues to transform lives, driven by the belief that quality healthcare should be a right, not a privilege.
